Reporter Lee Jae-hoon = The group ‘LE SSERAFIM’ has confirmed the ‘one-top popularity’ of the 4th generation K-pop girl group in the Japanese music market.<\/p>\n

According to the announcement of the Recording Industry Association of Japan on the 9th, Le Seraphim’s first regular album ‘UNFORGIVEN’ has exceeded 100,000 cumulative shipments as of last month, and has obtained ‘Gold’ certification.<\/p>\n

Source Music, the agency, introduced, “This is the first time Le Seraphim has obtained ‘Gold Certification’ for an album released in Korea, and it is an amazing growth achieved in one year of debut.”<\/p>\n

Previously, Le Seraphim took first place in Japan’s Oricon Chart as of May 15th in three categories with “Unforgiven”: Weekly Album Ranking, Weekly Digital Album Ranking, and Weekly Combined Album Ranking. This album also topped Billboard Japan’s ‘Hot Album’, ‘Top Album Sales’, and ‘Download Album’ charts (counting period May 1-7) released on the 10th of last month.<\/p>\n

In addition, this album entered the US Billboard’s main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ at number 6, and then posted its name for 4 consecutive weeks, setting a record for the longest period of charting among 4th generation K-pop girl groups.<\/p>\n

Its popularity on music charts is also hot. According to Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming company, the title song of the same name of ‘Unforgiven’ has been recorded in 10 countries\/regions, including Singapore (7th), Korea (8th), Taiwan (15th), and Japan (29th). It entered the ‘Weekly Top Song’ (counting period, June 2-8) and still kept the top spot in the 6th week of release.<\/p>\n

The rise of the follow-up song ‘Eve, Psyche and Bluebeard’s Wife’ is also fierce. This song was named ‘Weekly Top Song’ in a total of 6 countries\/regions, including Korea’s 10th place. In all charts it entered, it raised its ranking from the previous week. This song is attracting attention by reversing the charts of major domestic music sites. On the 8th, it ranked 4th, 6th, and 8th on the daily charts of Bugs, Melon, and Genie.<\/p>\n
