Reporter Lee Jae-hoon = Jungkook of the global super group ‘BTS’ set a new K-pop record on the UK Official Charts with his first solo single ‘Seven’ (feat. Latto).<\/p>\n
According to the official chart on the 21st (local time), Jungkook’s song ‘Super Shy’, which was released on the 14th, debuted at number 3 on the latest chart (21st to 27th) of the official singles chart ‘Top 100’.<\/p>\n
In particular, he debuted on the chart with the highest rank among Korean solo artists. Jungkook is the first Korean solo artist to debut in the top 5 of the Official Chart Singles Top 100 immediately after release. BTS’ “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “My Universe,” to which he belongs, debuted at number three on the chart.<\/p>\n

This is the third time that Jungkook entered the chart as a solo artist. ‘Stay Alive’ (89th place), produced by Suga, another member of BTS, as an OST for Hive’s original story ‘7FATES: CHAKHO’, and ‘Left and Right’ (41st place), collaborated with American singer-songwriter and producer Charlie Puth.<\/p>\n
Jungkook is currently active in England. He appeared on BBC’s popular talk show ‘The One Show’, which was broadcast live on the 22nd (local time). Jungkook, who was interviewed on this program as BTS in 2021, appeared as a solo artist in about two years and performed ‘Seven’ live.

Jungkook, who appeared amid cheers from the fans, said about his feelings about returning to England after the Wembley concert in 2019, “I’m really happy to be back (to England). I’ve been waiting for the ‘Seven’ stage in front of the fans. Thank you for coming.” He also expressed his aspirations, “(As a solo artist), please look forward to a completely new appearance of Jungkook. I want to challenge more styles of music in the future.”<\/p>\n

Fifty Fifty’s ‘Cupid’ ranked 56th on the Official Singles Chart Top 100 this week, the same as last week, and entered the chart for 17 consecutive weeks.<\/p>\n
