Reporter Lee Jae-hoon = British singer-songwriter and guitarist Bruno Major releases his third full-length album ‘Columbo’ on the 21st. It is a regular album released in 3 years that has withstood the pandemic. <\/p>\n
‘Colombo’ is more candid and autobiographical than any of Major’s previous works. Since Corona 19 in 2020 created an irresistible barrier to music activities, Major fell into deep depression. <\/p>\n
He was deeply saddened to the point of calling the time ‘the death of the ego’. To overcome this, he left for Los Angeles (LA), USA, and immediately bought a car there. As she greets her new life with a vintage car and many parties, an incident occurs that changes everything. <\/p>\n
The vehicle he was driving collided with another vehicle. It was such a big accident that the car was destroyed in half, but ironically, Major got great musical inspiration through that accident. Numerous emotions arising from a series of events of joy and sorrow were the beginning of ‘Colombo’. The album title ‘Colombo’ is the name of the car Major bought in LA.<\/p>\n
The album contains 12 tracks with rich tones and various emotions. Starting with ‘A Strange Kind Of Beautiful’, a ballad track with beautiful vocals and melodic lines, ‘Colombo’, which is like a retrospective sent by Major to the car, and ‘Tell Her’, an R&B track with boiling emotions. Her)’, and ‘The Show Must Go On’, which is the most personal track that Major wrote while focusing on himself, draws attention. <\/p>\n
Major’s second full-length work ‘To Let A Good Thing Die’ (2020), as well as a number of works together, Phairo (Phairo) participated as a producer. <\/p>\n
Major, who appeared like a comet in the pop scene in 2017, is gaining popularity by playing various genres such as jazz, blues, and folk with dreamy sounds. She is also famous in Korea for ‘Nothing’, ‘Regent’s Park’, and ‘Places We Won’t Walk’.<\/p>\n
Along with the release of this regular album, Major is also on a world tour. The Korean performance will be held on the 10th and 11th of next month at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul. It was originally scheduled to be held as one performance, but thanks to the support, one more was added.<\/p>\n
