According to YG on the 17th, the number of subscribers to Baby Monster’s official YouTube channel exceeded 3 million around 1:08 pm on the same day. It has been about 201 days since the channel opened on December 28 last year.<\/p>\n
On YouTube, which is leading the global music market, the number of subscribers is an indicator of the formation of a loyal fandom. <\/p>\n
In particular, the Baby Monster YouTube channel is steadily increasing in number of content views along with subscribers. The videos posted on the official YouTube channel so far have exceeded 500 million cumulative views. The pre-debut song ‘DREAM’ is on the verge of reaching 50 million views. Immediately after its release, it topped YouTube’s Worldwide Trending chart, followed by Billboard’s “Hot Trending Songs” chart. <\/p>\n
Baby Monster is a girl group released by YG about 7 years after BLACKPINK. It is a multinational composition of Korea (Ahyeon, Haram, and Laura), Thailand (Parita and Chiquita), and Japan (Luka and Asa). With the goal of debuting in September, they are accelerating their preparations. <\/p>\n
YG said, “We have invited famous foreign producers to Korea and held several song camps, and by securing a number of tracks, including the debut song, we are promoting follow-up projects with a sense of speed.”<\/p>\n
