Reporter Lee Jae-hoon = While the Disney\/Pixar animation film ‘Elemental’ is showing its back in the domestic box office, with cumulative audiences exceeding 3 million, the OST is also running backwards on the music charts. <\/p>\n

According to music distributor Universal Music on the 12th, American singer-songwriter Lauv (Arista Frans Lev, 29) participated in the ‘Elemental’ theme song, ‘Steal The Show’, on Melon, the largest music platform in Korea. It topped the charts. Also, at 6 pm on the same day, it broke through the popularity of K-pop songs and landed in the 10th place on the Melon comprehensive chart. <\/p>\n

It also topped the OSTs of various music platforms such as Genie Music, Apple Music, and Spotify, as well as overseas comprehensive music charts. <\/p>\n

‘Elemental’, directed by Korean-American director Peter Sohn, was set in Element City, where the four elements of fire, water, earth and air live together. It is a story about two elements that cannot be mixed with each other, fire ‘Amber’ and water ‘Wade’. Riding word of mouth, a craze for watching N cars is rising. Currently, with a cumulative audience of 3.51 million, it is recording the second box office hit after ‘Inside Out’ (4.97 million) among Disney and Pixar animations. 1 at the box office for 17 consecutive days until the day before. <\/p>\n

‘Still the Show’ flowed in the stage where Amber and Wade were getting to know each other little by little as they roamed ‘Element City’. It is said that Lauv’s sweet voice added to the aftertaste. Lauv is famous as a pop star who values \u200b\u200bstorytelling.

Hit songs such as ‘All 4 Nothing (I’m So In Love)’ and ‘Paris in the Rain’ surpassed 10 billion streams , achieved multi-platinum.<\/p>\n

They will perform in Korea at 8:00 PM on August 29 at KSPO DOME (formerly Gymnastics Stadium) in Olympic Park, Seoul. This is the first performance by himself, not participating in the festival.<\/p>\n
