Reporter Lee Jae-hoon = LE SSERAFIM, the 4th generation K-pop girl group, took first place in the ‘Rookie Ranking’ in the sales category by artist in the first half of the Japanese Oricon.<\/p>\n
According to Japan’s “Oricon First Half Ranking 2023” (counting period: December 12, 2022 – June 11, 2023) announced on the 6th, Le Seraphim posted sales of about 11 billion won in Japan alone in the first half of the year, leading the sales division by artist. 1 in the ‘Rookie Ranking’. The ranking, which opened in 2018, determines the ranking by adding the total sales amount of singles, albums, streaming, and music DVDs.<\/p>\n
Oricon said on its official website, “Le Seraphim recorded sales of 1.18 billion yen (approximately 11 billion Korean won) during the counting period. They are the first female artists,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
The work that contributed greatly to the award was the Japanese debut single ‘FEARLESS’, released in January this year.
