According to YG Entertainment on the 4th, Blackpink’s music video for “Boombayah” surpassed 1.6 billion YouTube views at 6:49 am on the same day. This is the result of about 6 years and 11 months since it was released on YouTube.<\/p>\n

With this, the music video for “Boombayah” became the third 1.6 billion-view video in Blackpink’s career. Previously, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ (2 billion views) and ‘Kill This Love’ (1.8 billion views) achieved the same number of views.<\/p>\n

“Boombayah” is one of the double title tracks of BLACKPINK’s debut single “SQUARE ONE” released in August 2016. It is still a popular song with an addictive chorus and an exciting drum beat. <\/p>\n
