Reporter Lee Jae-hoon = Jungkook, the ‘golden maknae’ of the global super group ‘BTS’, meets global fans with a new version of his first official solo single ‘Seven’.
Jungkook released an additional remix version of his first solo single ‘Seven’ (feat. Latto) on the 17th at 1:00 PM (Korean time). There are two newly released remix sound sources: the Weekday version, the ‘Summer’ mix and the ‘Band’ version.
The ‘Summer’ mix adds the rhythm of the trendy Jersey Club along with the sound of waves reminiscent of summer, the sound of brass, and the energetic 808 bass. It is a remix version that doubles the ‘summer song mood’ of the original song.
The ‘band’ version is the version that Jungkook showed off on the 14th in the ‘2023 Summer Concert Series’ of ABC’s ‘Good Morning America (GMA)’. The band sound of the original song was further emphasized.
On the other hand, Jungkook’s ‘Seven’, which was simultaneously released worldwide at 1:00 pm on the 14th, hit the music charts at home and abroad at the same time as it was released, pouring out records. Jungkook became the first Korean solo singer to enter the Spotify global chart as #1 immediately after release. On the Melon Top 100 (as of 00:00 on the 15th), the largest music site in Korea, this year, he set a new record as a male solo singer ranked first in the ‘shortest time’.
