Reporter Lee Jae-hoon = The digital single “Take Two,” released by the global super group BTS to mark the 10th anniversary of their debut, swept the top spot on overseas music charts.
According to the latest chart (as of June 9) of Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming company, on the 10th (local time), BTS’ ‘Take Two’, which was simultaneously released worldwide on the 9th, was streamed 7,279,978 times on Spotify in the US. 1 on the ‘Daily Top Song Global’.
In addition, ‘Take Two’ also entered the latest chart (as of June 9) of ‘Daily Digital Single Ranking’ announced by Japan’s Oricon with 21,792 downloads and went straight to No. 1.
Earlier, as of 9 am on the 10th, ‘Take Two’ swept the top of the iTunes ‘Top Song’ chart in 92 countries/regions around the world.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the team’s debut, BTS released ‘Take Two’ with a feeling of gratitude to the fans. In the acoustic pop genre, BTS’ sweet vocals, rap that delicately expresses the journey from debut until now, and cozy acoustic sound harmonize.
